Wellbeing work-alongs are a fairly new addition to the Ardington ONLINE programme; the perfect opportunity to take the pressure off, slow down, and indulge in a bit of ‘you’ time. These stripped back sessions are a step away from our traditional jam-packed classes; there'll be no handouts and, more importantly, no homework!
 

Working from a selection of reference photos we will spend a gentle afternoon making a little folded book of trees, combining paint and coloured pencils, some teeny tiny labels, and a smattering of spattering! There will be colour mixing demos using watercolour, gouache, or acrylics, along with ways to simplify tree shapes and capture their individual character, to create illustrative images that can be used individually as cards or kept as a collection in your pocket book.

You can work along with Karen at a gentle pace. Grab yourselves a cuppa, turn off your phone, and enjoy a peaceful afternoon playing with paint!  You might not finish the entire project in the time we have, but you'll have all the skills you need to finish off in your own time.
