Italic is our most well-loved calligraphic script. It being such an adaptable hand, we yearn to break out once we’re reasonably proficient in the basic version. In this class Mary will help you push those boundaries!
Here, we’ll stretch, squash, pull out, sharpen, soften the letters whilst still retaining that essence of Italic, thus creating lively, expressive versions that speak better to the chosen words. And all with just two sizes of pen.
