In this contemporary floral-themed class, we will explore a variety of techniques using watercolours and pen and ink sketches. You can work in a sketchbook / art journal or on loose sheets of watercolour paper.
Using images of hydrangea as an exemplar, we will work along together on some simple watercolour sketches, adding layers of collage as a mixed media technique to create interest. Sai will teach you some simple doodling techniques that result in very effective hydrangea illustrations, and we will finish with some hand lettering to add titles or notes to your page.
