This class is suitable for students of all abilities
Using old archways, gateways, plinths and pergolas as our inspiration we will have fun exploring a variety of techniques to capture the beauty of ageing garden architecture.
The combination of delightfully decaying man-made elements in combination with sprawling foliage and flowers hiding in the cracks and crevices, will give us limitless scope for playing with our materials. We will work with texture, resists, and layering with loose colourwork in a watercolour style. Add in some lovely linework for detail and definition to make little studies suitable for sketching, journalling, cards or as little bits of art in their own right!
Join Karen for a couple of hours pottering around with paint…..suitable for everyone, no experience needed.
