In this brand-new class, Mark will offer an introduction to the Anglo-Saxon minuscule hand. You're invited to work along with Mark during the class; minimal materials required!
We will start by looking at, and giving some background to, the evolution and historical variations of the Anglo-Saxon miniscule letterform. Then we will explore how we can take those letterforms, and their variations, to mold them into a cohesive and contemporary alphabet. This class is all about learning how to use a historic text in modern pieces.
